GET TO KNOW ME
I am a full-time real estate agent, who is also a mom, a wife, and a nature lover. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, gardening, and going for long walks with my dog Frisco. My son is a student and talented musician at North Allegheny High School. My husband is an Emmy award-winning videographer and still photographer with more than 30-years of experience shooting news and documentaries.
My husband and I met while covering a big story in the Philadelphia area. I was working for the CBS station as a TV news reporter, and he was a photographer at New Jersey Network. We married in 2004 and moved to Pittsburgh in 2010 when I was offered a position as the investigative consumer reporter at WPXI-TV the NBC affiliate here.
While in Philly, I worked as a general assignment reporter for CBS and FOX covering breaking news, presidential campaigns, severe weather, local politics, and a wide variety of feature stories. It was an exciting, fast-paced, thrilling job, with incredible highs, and unfortunately some terrible lows. After 9/11, I took a short break from news, producing design shows for HGTV, and earning a marketing management certificate at Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Over the years, I was nominated for nearly a dozen Emmy awards including Best General Assignment News Reporter and Best Specialty Reporter, winning for breaking news and consumer reporting.
After learning that public relations wasn’t for me, I discovered that real estate was. I love working with people and making a difference in their lives, and that’s helped me grow my business quickly. In a just a few years, I’ve become one of the top real estate agents in my office and one of the top realtors in the North Hills. It’s been a wonderful second career that fills my heart with joy when my clients hopes and dreams are met.
