For a slower morning, head to the Latodami Nature Center for an easy walk through the woods. If you've got a dog, the off-leash area is a local favorite for a reason.
Wander The Village at Pine
After you've worked up an appetite, The Village at Pine is the easy answer — a mix of shops, coffee, and casual dining all walkable from one parking spot. It's a great snapshot of what day-to-day life looks like here if you're relocating and still picturing yourself in the neighborhood.
Get Your Fall Fix at Soergel Orchards
No September weekend in Wexford is complete without a stop at Soergel Orchards. Their fall festival kicks off in mid-September and runs into late October, with hayrides out to the pumpkin patch, apple picking, and Friday evening twilight hayrides that are a genuinely great date-night idea, not just a kid thing. Parking and admission are free, so it's an easy, low-pressure outing.
Or Head to Shenot Farm for Apples and Cider
A few minutes away, Shenot Farm is the other side of the same fall coin — a working farm and market with fresh produce, award-winning apple cider, and its own pumpkin patch that opens toward the end of the month. If you're the type who needs a good cider donut in your life come fall, this is your stop.
Grab Dinner Downtown
For dinner, Wexford punches well above its weight. Zuppa's Delicatessen is a go-to for something casual and satisfying, Walnut Grill and Wexford Public both do a great upscale-casual night out, and if you're celebrating something, Napa Prime Chophouse has one of the best wine lists in the North Hills. Thorn Hill Tap House is my pick if you just want a relaxed patio and a good beer list to close out the day.
